As a Mall Lead Security Guard, you will be motivating and leading a team of highly trained Security guards. There is a high focus on customer service, de-escalating situations and constant patrol, since you will be working with people all shift, in a Mall environment. What's in it for you? Hourly wage of $18.90 + comprehensive benefits We will invest in you, covering the costs of continuing education through GardaWorld Academy Permanent Position: Tuesday and Thursday (0800-1600), Friday (1000-1800), Saturday and Sunday (0730-1530) Career growth opportunities at GardaWorld Uniform provided at no cost Responsibilities for Mall Security Guard Maintain a safe and secure environment Lead a team of highly trained security guards Access control of entry ways and exit points using equipment at your disposal. Perform patrol at the premises regularly to maintain order and establish presence. Enforce property regulations and city bi-laws on the client's site. Monitor CCTV Protect the client's assets relative to theft, assault, fire, and other safety issues. Coordinate response to incidents. Respond to telephone calls received by the Security Department. Complete daily reports and incident reports. Provide excellent customer service. Qualifications for Mall Security Guard Good verbal and written communication skills Previous experience in the security industry (asset) Tactical experience (asset) Good with technology Valid Manitoba Security Guard license Customer service oriented Must be able to work day shifts.
