This role plays a critical part in ensuring that each HVAC unit leaving our facility meets ICE Westerns high standards of quality, appearance, and functionality. The successful candidate will oversee the finishing team, perform final assembly and quality assurance tasks, and ensure products are fully prepared for shipment. **Key Responsibilities** - Perform detailed final cleaning, assembly repairs, and shipping preparation of HVAC units - Conduct and oversee sealing alterations or corrections to units as required - Direct, manage, and inspect the work completed by finishing team members - Coordinate with Production, Testing, and Shipping departments to meet deadlines - Perform quality checks and sign off on all finished units prior to shipping - Prepare units for shipment, including protective wrapping, shrink wrapping, and use of open flame heat gun - Fabricate and assemble metal products, following blueprint diagrams and technical drawings - Measure, cut, and grind components; perform assembly using hand and power tools - Build crates and prepare shipping materials as needed - Ensure compliance with all company, government, and equipment-related safety requirements Perform general maintenance and other duties as assigned by management **Qualifications** - Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality - Fine motor skills for detailed cleaning and assembly tasks - Mechanically inclined with problem-solving ability - Previous experience in manufacturing or HVAC assembly is an asset - Ability to lead a small team and work with minimal supervision - Able to lift up to and beyond 25 kilograms safely using proper techniques - Excellent communication and teamwork skills - Must own basic tools including drill and grinder Valid First Aid, Forklift, and Crane certificates are assets **What We Offer** - **Competitive Wages** - **Comprehensive Health, Dental & Vision Coverage** Premiums fully paid by ICE Western - **RRSP Matching Plan** - **Paid Vacation** - **Employee Assistance Program (EAP)** - **Company Events and Team Initiatives** - **Free On-Site Parking** Acknowledgement of job description: I have read and understand the job description regarding my employment with ICE Western Sales Ltd.
