Our services include staffing solutions, warehousing services, and transportation services, all designed to meet business needs efficiently and seamlessly.We are currently hiring for one of our esteemed clients.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role for a Pasteurizer Operator at in Calgary, AB. The Pasteurizer Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining pasteurization equipment, ensuring proper pasteurization processes, monitoring and recording temperature and pressure readings, and adhering to all food safety regulations. Additional tasks include performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and maintaining detailed logs and records.QualificationsOperate pasteurization equipment safely and efficiently according to standard operating procedures (SOPs)Monitor and record temperatures, flow rates, and pressures during the pasteurization process to ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standardsConduct routine tests and checks to verify product quality and pasteurization effectivenessMaintain accurate documentation of processing records, charts, and logs in accordance with state and federal requirementsClean, sanitize, and inspect equipment to ensure sanitary conditions and prevent contaminationTroubleshoot and report mechanical issues or deviations in the process to maintenance and supervisorsWork collaboratively with quality assurance and production teams to ensure product safety and consistencyAdhere to all food safety, HACCP, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) guidelinesAssist with other duties in the production area as assignedRequirementsValid Pasteurizer Operator License (Required applications without this license will not be considered)High school diploma or GEDPrior experience in dairy or food/beverage processing is preferredStrong understanding of pasteurization principles and food safety protocolsAbility to read and interpret charts, gauges, and control panelsBasic computer skills for recordkeeping and data entryGood communication skills and ability to work well in a team environmentWillingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays, as neededPhysical Requirements:Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbsExposure to varying temperatures, wet conditions, and noise levelsUse of personal protective equipment (PPE) as requiredSalary Depends on Experience.
