Quality Manager - Western Canada District Location: Burnaby, British Columbia, CA Calgary, AB, CA Requisition ID: 178158 Job Level: Mid Level Department: Quality Market: Transportation Employment Type: Full Time Position Overview Location This position is based on-site at one or more of our projects across Western Canada. Responsibilities Develop and execute project-specific Quality Management Plans (QMPs) Lead quality audits, inspections, and root cause analyses Collaborate with project teams to ensure compliance with engineering specifications, codes, and standards Manage non-conformance reports (NCRs) and corrective action processes Train and mentor field staff on quality procedures and best practices Interface with clients, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies on quality matters Maintain documentation and reporting for quality metrics and performance Support continuous improvement initiatives across the district Qualifications Bachelors degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field Minimum 5 years of experience in construction quality management, preferably in infrastructure or industrial projects Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, CSA standards, and applicable codes Proven leadership and communication skills Ability to travel and work on-site across Western Canada Other Requirements: Work productively and meet deadlines timely Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment Perform work safely and effectively. Understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies. Work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines. Work overtime and weekends as required. Compensation: $120,000 - $140,000 Actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as education, experience, skillset, and/or location This position may be eligible for additional compensation including LOA, camp or travel allowances, etc. based on project conditions.
