The successful candidate will be eligible for a clinical academic appointment at the rank of Lecturer or Assistant Professor in the Department of Paediatrics at the University of Toronto. Effective start date is early 2026. The Department of Paediatrics at MGH (in collaboration with the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Department of Medicine) is building a brand new general medical genetics clinic to serve our diverse population and manage care across the lifespan and all aspects of clinical genetics indications including neonatal, paediatric, prenatal and adult care. The successful candidate would be paired with a genetic counselor and administrative staff. MGH serves as a training site for the University of Torontos postgraduate training in Paediatrics, Obstetrics/Gynecology, and Internal Medicine. The successful candidate should have a strong aptitude in postgraduate medical teaching. The successful candidate must hold an MD degree, should hold or be eligible for certification in Medical Genetics and Genomics by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada or the Canadian College of Medical Genetics or equivalent (e.g. American Board of Medical Genetics and Genomics), and hold or be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons in Ontario.
