Why this role is important? harmacy Assistant Full Time Permanent MediSystem is a division of Shoppers Drug Mart and is a specialized pharmacy servicing seniors in long term care and retirement homes throughout Canada. What Youll Do: Generate automation reports via Kroll pharmacy management software Package medications into unit dose pouches using the automation machine Perform machine maintenance and troubleshooting Manage automation workflow to meet workflow targets and schedules Deliver completed product based on schedules Ensure appropriate follow up on minor issues Synchronization and collaboration with other departments Ensure organization of work station and inventory shelves Maintain appropriate supplies and materials Some involvement in prescription information management Recognize liability on the outcomes of service provided Commitment to promoting a workplace of inclusiveness and belonging What you bring: Excellent communication skills and customer service skills Detail oriented and ability to prioritize work assignments Ability to adapt to change Experience working in a fast-paced environment where high attention to detail and accuracy is essential Ability to work and manoeuvre quickly and consistently for extended periods of time Positive, cooperative, and team-oriented attitude High School Diploma Exposure to Hospital or Long Term Care Pharmacy Experience working in a retail pharmacy environment Employment Type: Full time Type of Role: Regular Shoppers Drug Mart Inc. recognizes Canadas diversity as a source of national pride and strength.
