Overview MatchBox Consulting Group is seeking a Bridge Engineer to join the Transportation Structures team in Edmonton. The successful candidate will contribute to a variety of bridge projects across Alberta, carrying out detailed technical work, leading design teams, and managing projects within budget, scope, and quality requirements. Responsibilities Lead the structural team in analysis, design, evaluation, and preparation of calculations and drawings. Prepare technical reports based on technical analysis, modeling, and design calculations. Prepare proposals, bids, and contract documentation. Monitor, control, and report project status internally and externally. Assist with financial arrangements for projects including fee forecasting, preparation, and allocation. Provide guidance, mentorship, and instruction to junior staff. Qualifications Bachelors degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; Masters in Structural Engineering is an asset. Registered as a Professional Engineer with APEGA. 5+ years of progressive experience in bridge engineering within the consulting industry. Related experience with Alberta Transportation and Economic Corridors or the City of Edmonton is considered an asset. Strong planning, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure. Committed team player with leadership potential. Willingness to travel occasionally; valid drivers license required.
