We are a dynamic and growth-oriented organization committed to excellence. We are seeking an enthusiastic and energetic leader to elevate our purchasing and inventory management processes. Position Overview We are looking for a proactive, motivated, and hungry individual to oversee purchasing and inventory control. This handson leader will be instrumental in driving cost efficiency, ensuring optimal stock levels, and supporting production scheduling to meet company goals. Key Responsibilities Lead purchasing efforts by continuously challenging vendors to secure the best value, price, quality, and delivery times. Build strong vendor relationships while maintaining a competitive edge in procurement. Be proactive in identifying new suppliers and negotiating advantageous terms. Oversee inventory control with a handson approach, including warehouse organization, item identification, and location management. Conduct monthly cycle counts accurately and efficiently. Implement lean inventory practices to minimize overstocks and optimize stock levels. Collaborate with production planning by scheduling based on realtime inventory data and factory capacity. Maintain detailed records and provide insights for continuous improvement in procurement and inventory processes. This role is a balanced mix of desk work and physical activity, approximately 50% at your desk handling planning, ordering, and administrative tasks, and 50% on your feet in the warehouse, overseeing organization, conducting counts, and interacting with the storage area. Qualifications Proven experience in purchasing, supply chain, or inventory management. Strong negotiating skills and a competitive mindset. Excellent organizational and leadership abilities. Handson approach with a keen eye for detail. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities. Knowledge of inventory systems and warehouse organization.
