Creativity, innovation and personal style will be emphasized. Students will build confidence in their ability to communicate effectively in every setting while incorporating equity, diversity, and inclusion considerations. This course is a mandatory requirement for all management students. It includes work-integrated-learning components, and satisfies the WIL requirement of the BBA degree. Course Enrolment (est.): 30 Qualifications Minimum qualifications: The candidate is expected to be of superior teaching ability, with suitable academic and/or professional qualifications (Ph.D. or Ph.D. candidacy in economics) and mastery of the subject matter. The successful applicant will have clearly demonstrated teaching excellence in the subject matter through previous experience teaching this or similar courses, the ability to engage diverse learners, strong organizational and communication skills, and experience with relevant learning technologies and online teaching platforms. Preferred qualifications: In addition to the minimum, the successful applicant will have significant experience in applying the subject matter in a practical environment, an academic record of recent research in the area covered by the course, including peer-reviewed publications in academic journals. Duties All normal duties related to the design and teaching of a university credit course, including preparation and delivery of course content; development, administration, and marking of assignments, tests, and exams; calculation and submission of grades, holding regular office hours, and maintaining reasonable availability for student and administrative contact, supervision of T.A. assigned to course.
