Position Overview The UBC School of Music invites applications for a fulltime, limitedterm position in Music Composition (Music Technology). Applicants must have a Ph.D. or DMA in Music Composition. Responsibilities Individual undergraduate and graduate composition lessons. Teaching courses including Introduction to Music Technology, Electroacoustic Music, Computer Music, and Interactive Performance Systems. Supervision of masters and doctoral students. Running and maintaining the Music Technology Lab. Coordinator of the Applied Music Technology minor. Service on School and University committees. Active performance and research, consistent with successful teaching and productive service. Qualifications and Experience Ph.D. or DMA in Music Composition. Demonstrated research record with highlevel national and international performances. Documented success of research grants.
