Were looking for a Business Development & Proposal Writer to join our growing team and help us communicate our vision, secure major partnerships, and win competitive bids across Canada and internationally. About the Role As a Business Development & Proposal Writer , youll sit at the intersection of strategy, engineering, and storytelling. Youll lead and support the creation of high-impact proposals, RFP/RFI responses, and strategic communications that define how CSMC presents its cutting-edge technologies to partners, investors, and government agencies. Youll collaborate with our technical, policy, and leadership teams to craft clear, persuasive, and compliant submissions that stand out in the aerospace, defence, and nuclear innovation sectors . Key Responsibilities Develop, write, and edit proposals, RFP/RFI responses, and grant submissions . Collaborate with technical, business, and government relations teams to shape winning narratives. Maintain and evolve a content library for proposal sections, resumes, and project summaries. Support business development initiatives , including partner engagement and opportunity tracking. Ensure all submissions meet compliance and formatting requirements for government and industry tenders. Contribute to corporate communications , including capability statements, marketing briefs, and white papers. Contribute to business development on key strategic areas. Qualifications 14 years of experience in proposal writing, business development, or technical communication . Strong writing, editing, and research skills with exceptional attention to detail. Experience preparing documents for RFPs, RFIs, or public sector procurement . Ability to translate complex technical information into clear, persuasive language. Bachelors degree in engineering, communications, political science, or a related field . Familiarity with aerospace, nuclear, or defence industries considered a major asset.
