Front End Manager Retail Employer: Sobeys Posted: October 17, 2025 Location: Calgary, AB Salary: $20.00 to $77.00 hourly Employment: Permanent, Full Time Start Date: As soon as possible Responsibilities Provide management and leadership to the store frontend team, ensuring maximum accuracy and execution of company strategy. Coach and develop the team to deliver superior customer service and create a shopping experience that enhances loyalty, sales, and profit. Manage all human resource clerical functions, including scheduling, recruiting, performance management, training, and new hire orientation. Implement regulatory requirements (OH&S, food safety) and company policies. Conduct financial management: budget control, payroll, inventory processes, and total store expenses to meet KPIs. Coordinate maintenance of department equipment, continuous improvement initiatives, and assist in other store functions as required. Promote employee engagement and create a culture that positions the company as an employer of choice. Qualifications High school diploma, minimum 18 months of experience in administration/frontend operations. Proficient in Microsoft Office, Kronos, and SAP software.
