Job description Urban Life Solutions is looking for reliable and experienced individuals to join our team as Pedestrian Snow Removal Laborers . This role is focused on snow and ice management for industrial, municipal, and commercial properties during the winter season. Our contract runs from November to April , and we provide crew members with a salary for stability, even during lighter snowfall periods. **Responsibilities :** Perform manual snow removal using shovels, ice chippers, and small handheld equipment Apply ice melt products as required to ensure safe walkways and entrances Safely operate equipment in accordance with Urban Life Solutions policies and safety standards Respond promptly and effectively to changing weather conditions Provide professional and courteous service to clients and the public Complete additional duties as assigned **Basic/Required Qualifications:** Minimum 1 year of snow removal experience (pedestrian or equipment-based) Valid Class 5 Drivers License and clean drivers abstract (ability to provide upon request) Ability to follow instructions and work independently or with a team Strong communication skills and a reliable, safety-first mindset Legally authorized to work in Canada Must provide a recent criminal record check before employment (employer paid) **Preferred Qualifications:** Previous experience in landscaping, grounds maintenance, or winter operations Ability to take initiative and adapt quickly in fast-changing weather conditions Strong work ethic with attention to detail **Working Conditions/Physical Demands:** Ability to perform physically demanding work for extended periods in cold and snowy conditions Frequent standing, walking, kneeling, bending, and repetitive motions Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 100 lbs regularly Must be available for on-call work, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays depending on snow events Join our Team.
