If youre passionate about engineering solutions and thrive in a collaborative environment, this is your opportunity.What Youll DoDesign new and existing equipment and manage projects from concept to implementationConduct technical investigations, troubleshooting, and update equipment specificationsLead installation and construction projects, coordinating contractors and vendorsIdentify and implement countermeasures for quality concerns and cycle time issuesSupport Equipment Services and Production teams as neededPrepare reports for downtime, RCA, and project status updatesCreate and review assembly/layout drawings using Catia and AutoCADCollaborate with departments like Quality, Safety, and Purchasing on equipment design and procurementRequirementsDegree in Mechanical Engineering or a Mechanical Engineering Technologist diplomaAbility to interpret mechanical schematics and drawingsHands-on experience with automation equipment (hydraulics, pneumatics, robotics, conveyors)Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)Valid G-Class Drivers License and ability to travel (Canadian Passport or B1 Visa)Willingness to support overtime, shift changes, and production as requiredPreferred ExperienceIndustrial/manufacturing engineering experiencePLC programming and HMI knowledgeFamiliarity with Ontario Electrical Safety Code, safeguarding standards, and PHSR requirementsProject management skills: scope development, scheduling, budgetingExperience with Catia, AutoCAD, and sustainability initiativesStrong communication and collaboration skills
