And were just a short 30 min drive from North Edmonton along the scenic countryside of Highway 28. **Why Join Team Redwater Dodge?** - **Our Journeyman Techs start at $46 per flat rate hour** - **Top industry wages with performance bonus plans** - **Team Pricing on Vehicles, Parts and Service** - **Medical, Dental and Group Insurance Plan** - **We are extremely busy and offer all the hours you could want in a Positive Culture and fun Atmosphere** **-Monday- Friday Work schedule, closed on Stat Holidays for that work/life balance** **Responsibilities For Journeyman/Journeywoman require but not limited to:** - Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards. - Inspect and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment on new, pre-owned, and customer vehicles and recording findings so that necessary repairs can be made. - Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc. - Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of the time needed for additional repairs. - Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications. - Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay abreast with rapidly changing technology. - Must follow all company safety policies and procedures. - Other duties as required. **Qualifications:** - **Must be Journeyman Red Seal automotive technician.** - First Aid and WHMIS an asset but not required. - Team oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service - Hold a valid drivers license with clean abstract - Working knowledge of shop equipment - Must be willing to submit a background check prior to employment **Go to our website to see more about our company and the many reasons why you will want to work for us!** **We do thank all applicants in advance, but only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
