Oracle Retail Technical BA/ConsultantLocation: Hybrid Vancouver, BCContract: 6 months with a high possibility of extension | Status: INC or T4One of our largest clients is seeking a Technical BA/Consultant to drive the solution architecture and evolution of our Oracle Retail Management System (RMS) suite, critical to our global pricing, sales, and inventory operations.Key Responsibilities:Architectural Leadership: Drive the solution architecture for the Oracle MOM and RTG suite (including RMS, RPM, ReSA, and RIB), ensuring technical integrity and alignment with business strategy.Strategic Roadmap: Develop and manage the business-driven roadmap for the sales and inventory platform, focusing on future-state evolution and strategic direction.Technical Advisory: Act as a trusted technical advisor, building strong relationships and influencing technical decisions to ensure successful adoption and deployment of target state systems.Design & Delivery: Design and deliver robust, scalable solutions supporting rapid global business growth. Ensure technical requirements are integrated into all end-to-end solutions.Debt Management: Identify and assess strategic technical debt, perform cost/benefit analysis, and integrate resolutions into the platform roadmap.Collaboration & Review: Collaborate with cross-functional teams and architects. Review functional and technical designs with development teams for adherence to architecture standards.Documentation: Develop architecture blueprints, roadmaps, and documentation using tools like Visio, Oracle SQL Developer, TOAD, and JIRA.Minimum Requirements:Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field.7+ years of deep Oracle technologies experience with specific implementation knowledge of Oracle Retail (RMS, RPM, ReSA, RIB, RSE).4+ years of extensive experience integrating packaged solutions via message, service, and batch architectures.Expertise in developing micro-service and service-based architecture in global environments.Experience with AWS or OCI is a plus.Oracle Performance tuning expertise is an advantage.
