This role is ideal for someone who combines technical insight with business acumen and is passionate about delivering value through smart licensing strategies.Your ImpactStrategic Licensing Guidance Lead clients through the full lifecycle of Microsoft licensingfrom initial scoping to renewals and complianceensuring alignment with business needs and budget goals.Client-Facing Expertise Build strong relationships with enterprise customers, acting as a trusted resource for licensing questions, product options, and program updates.Complex Deal Support Collaborate with internal teams to support multifaceted licensing scenarios, including true-ups, upgrades, and transitions between licensing models.Proposal & Pricing Development Create tailored licensing quotes and documentation that reflect current Microsoft offerings and client-specific requirements.Forecasting & Reporting Prepare licensing usage reports, renewal timelines, and strategic insights for quarterly client reviews and planning sessions.Financial Evaluation Analyze licensing opportunities for profitability and long-term value, contributing to the growth of the software solutions practice.Market Awareness Stay informed on Microsofts evolving licensing programs, certifications, and partner incentives to ensure accurate and timely guidance.Practice Contribution Share knowledge and insights with peers, helping to shape best practices and drive innovation within the licensing team.What You BringLicensing Experience 35 years working with Microsoft licensing frameworks such as EA, CSP, MPSA, or similar.Product Knowledge Strong understanding of Microsofts software and cloud offerings, including licensing nuances and program structures.Analytical Thinking Ability to interpret licensing data, troubleshoot issues, and recommend effective solutions.Time Management Skilled at juggling multiple priorities and delivering high-quality work under tight deadlines.Client Service Orientation A commitment to professionalism, responsiveness, and long-term relationship building.Problem Solving Experience resolving complex licensing challenges with creativity and precision.Communication Skills Clear, confident communicatorboth written and verbalwith the ability to simplify technical concepts.Team Collaboration Comfortable working cross-functionally and contributing to a collaborative team environment.Business Judgment Capable of conducting research and applying sound judgment to licensing decisions and client recommendations.
