This sector includes audiovisual and film production, live performance production, video games, special effects, virtual reality, specialized equipment rental services, and more. Responsibilities Support directors in setting up new financing files and throughout all stages of followup, amendments, and renewals. Structure credit requests by mitigating risks and developing financing scenarios that meet client needs while complying with the Banks risk criteria. Provide expertise in financing structures, financial analysis, and all aspects of file evaluation. Identify risks and make recommendations to the credit committee in accordance with Bank policies. Demonstrate a high level of collaboration and actively contribute to achieving your business units objectives. Assist in preparing files, including due diligence reviews, financial analyses, and implementing appropriate financing structures. Participate in negotiations with internal and external stakeholders (credit committees, clients, legal and financial advisors, other financial institutions, syndication departments, etc.). Act as a resource person for your team in handling credit files and support, as needed, the development of team members skills in this area. Stay informed about economic trends in the entertainment industry and ensure that the products and services offered meet the evolving needs of our clients. Identify risks inherent to activities in the creative industries sector. Team Within the Commercial and Private Banking 1859 sector, youll be part of a team of 40 colleagues supporting commercial clients in the creative industries. Youll also be surrounded by a complete ecosystem of experts to help you offer the best possible solutions to clients. Reporting to the Senior Director, the position is based in Toronto or Montreal. Youll have the flexibility to work from home and/or the office, but youll also need to travel regularly each week for meetings with clients and the team. Requirements Bachelors degree in a relevant field and 6 years of relevant experience, or Masters degree in a relevant field and 4 years of relevant experience. Experience in commercial credit. Experience in financial analysis (financial statements, projections, etc.). Experience with complex financing structures (business acquisitions, shareholder buyouts, bank syndications, etc.).
