We are looking for a Commercial Account Manager to join BrokerLink and work from one of our Niagara Falls, St. Catharines, or Burlington offices in Southern Ontario on a Permanent Fulltime basis. Benefits Flexible health and dental insurance benefits package Personal spending allowance to invest in your healthy lifestyle RRSP with company matching ESPP (TSX:IFC) with matching aspect Dress according to your daily schedule (Dress for your day) Competitive compensation package with bonus aspect Employee discount program (Apple, Bell, Rogers, etc.) Paid time off: personal days, volunteer days, exam/study time, jury duty; 3 weeks of vacation per year Recognized as one of Canadas best employers (Kincentric 2024) Role Entails Assist the Commercial Insurance Account Executive Provide customers with prompt service, advice, and help them understand insurance coverage and concerns Receive and process all incoming commercial paperwork Assist with quotes to customers, review existing coverage, and update customer file information Prepare documentation for insurers and complete applications for new clients Issue insurance certificates Process endorsements, invoices, and followup on payments Communicate with insurance companies, negotiate with underwriters on behalf of customers, negotiate renewal terms, and follow up with adjusters on claim status Source and obtain additional information requested by underwriters and complete applications Qualifications High school and/or postsecondary education 35 years of experience in commercial insurance RIBO licensed Exposure to Epic (asset) Previous sales experience (asset) Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities successfully Strong analytical and organizational skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills We thank all applicants for their interest, but only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
