Overview Join a thriving manufacturing company experiencing strong year-over-year growth. Reporting to the Controller, the Accounts Payable Administrator will be the go-to person for all payables matters for US operations. The work environment is fast-paced with tight deadlines. Responsibilities Receive invoices and expense claims, check for completion and accuracy, and investigate variances Prepare invoices for data-entry with GL coding and enter invoices into the ERP system (Syspro) Collate backup documents and reports for high-volume cheque runs Perform scheduled payment runs and distribute cheques promptly and efficiently Ensure established policies and procedures are followed in all Accounts Payable activities Reconcile complex pre-payments for overseas suppliers Ensure integrity of Accounts Payable data Reconcile vendor accounts on a regular basis Assist with foreign currency cash flow planning as it relates to Accounts Payable Maintain filing system within Accounts Payable Communicate with vendors and colleagues Monitor outstanding PO receipts and ensure timely processing Prepare Accounts Payable reports as required by management Assist in the implementation of Concur expense management platform Company credit card reconciliation and posting Assist with month-end activities Assist with annual audit as required Assist with continuous improvement activities within Accounts Payable Assist with ad hoc tasks Note: They pay in 4 different currencies Qualifications NICE: General knowledge of accounting principles Experience in an inventory-based environment (Manufacturing or Distribution) Experience with freight payable Concur Syspro Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail with high accuracy and ability to multitask Strong communication skills and diplomacy to handle different personalities Problem-solving mindset with a solid understanding of PO systems and variances Ability to work closely with Purchasing Showing initiative and ownership in all aspects of the job Organized and self-driven; able to work independently and as part of a team Experience Level Entry Level Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $50,000.00 - $58,000.00/yr.
