The Purchasing and Warehouse position is a key role in supporting the operation teams through the preparation of purchase orders, supporting with requisitions, obtaining price quotations, and working alongside suppliers. Some experience using Microsoft Office software, particularly Excel and Word. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with excellent interpersonal abilities. Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment. Primary Responsibilities: Facilitate the purchasing of goods and services in response to requisitions submitted by authorized personnel. Organize and execute town pick-ups from suppliers for departmental orders. Complete town runs for emergency requests as needed. Distribution of internal mail for SPR/SPG staff. Source price quotations from suppliers and catalogues; prepare and process purchase orders accordingly. Coordinate delivery logistics to ensure cost-effective and timely shipments. Receive and verify incoming goods and materials, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Communicate with vendors to resolve shortages, delivery delays, or discrepancies. Maintain accurate documentation for all goods received and processed.
