Position: Associate Relationship Manager, Small Business - National Employment Type: Permanent Compensation Details Business Development 14: Salaries typically range from $57,048 to $76,065 annually, based on qualifications and experience, plus a performance-based incentive. Location Hybrid work environment; currently requiring in-office work 2 days per week (subject to change). Role can be performed from EDCs headquarters in Ottawa or from Community Hubs located in Toronto, Mississauga, Montreal, Brossard, Laval, Calgary, Halifax, or Vancouver. Team & Position Overview The Strategy & Execution Team contributes to EDCs 2030 Corporate Plan. The Associate Relationship Manager will research and connect with companies across multiple sectors, performing lead generation, collaborating with marketing and partner lists, networking, and working with Small Business Relationship Managers. The role includes proactive prospecting and outbound engagement with potential clients. What You Will Be Doing Researching, qualifying, engaging, and following up on leads from multiple sources. Collaborating with Sales Operations, Marketing, and Small Business Development to develop lead management strategies. Generating and nurturing leads, researching a companys operations, objectives, market entry strategies, and international trade opportunities. Supporting the Strategy & Execution Teams national strategy. Logging prospect information into the CRM to support communications and reports. Providing consistent, concise, accurate internal and external communications. Working both collaboratively in a team environment and independently. Achieving qualified lead generation targets. What We Are Looking For Undergraduate Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Commerce, or related discipline. Minimum 2 years of recent business development experience. Knowledge of best practices in sales and/or client account management. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Bilingual in English and French (official languages of Canada). Valid drivers license. What Will Make You Stand Out Business development experience in banking, international business, or financial services. Knowledge of international business practices and international trade. CITP (Certified International Trade Professional) designation. Eligibility EDC is committed to Fair Employment Practices.
