We are looking for a Financial Analyst Acquisitions to join BrokerLink and work hybrid out of one of our offices in Alberta, Ontario, or Atlantic region on a Permanent FT Basis. Working for an employer who is regularly recognized as one of Canadas best employers such as Kincentric 2024 What the Role Entails : Collaborating with leadership teams in making strategic and material investment decisions Undertaking in depth financial analysis to identify and analyze financial and other risks associated with a potential acquisition to help mitigate potential problems. Working with legal and executive teams to help structure the transaction, including the financial terms and integration plan. Facilitate regular meetings during the due diligence process to support data gathering with the various collaborative teams assisting with the acquisition Develop effective and clear communication in written and verbal formats to senior audiences Performs special projects and ad hoc request Solution driven to achieve results, while being transparent in identifying challenging situations and inviting different perspectives Drive change by challenging the status quo, exhibiting a can do attitude and energizing others. The Successful candidate will have : If you feel you have the equivalent skills, please apply Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for various financial analyses University degree in a relevant area of study and a CPA, CFA, CBV or MBA designation preferred 3 - 5 years experience working in a professional services environment at an accounting or consulting firm or equivalent industry experience Insurance industry experience, CIP and RIBO credentials are an asset #J-18808-Ljbffr
