About the Role As a Programmer Analyst Level 1, you will contribute to the development and maintenance of enterprise applications that power key business operations. Youll collaborate in a project and support environment with IT team members and business partners to translate business requirements into effective system solutions. Responsibilities Coding modules that are easy to medium complexity. Creating and executing unit test cases along with capturing and presenting results. Investigating, resolving issues/defects found during development, testing, or production. Coordinating and being part of deployment activities, including system documentation. Developing time estimates for own work. Working outside traditional hours as required. May be part of offhours pager support group to support production applications. Understanding and following standards and processes and making suggestions for improvement. Qualifications Bachelors in Computer Science or similar, with 2 years experience in application development and support. Understanding of ITIL or software development best practices and processes. Handson experience coding in Python and knowledge of SQL, Power BI, and advanced Excel. Experience with waterfall and agile scrum project methodologies. Knowledge of relational database and data modelling concepts. Strong analytical, problemsolving, decisionmaking, and interpersonal skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams. Ability to handle multiple demands and competing priorities as well as strong organizational ability. Resultoriented with high levels of initiative, flexibility, and adaptability, while working independently or within a team. The ability to be onsite three days a week at our corporate office in St. Jacobs, to accommodate our hybrid working model. Proficiency in at least one development language.
