Join to apply for the Pre Delivery Inspection Coordinator role at Multimatic . Position Overview: Located in Newmarket, Ontario, Canada, Multimatic Niche Vehicles North America (MNVNA) is the exclusive production facility of the Ford Mustang GTD. The Pre Delivery Inspection Coordinator will perform inspections on inprocess and finished build vehicles to ensure quality and regulatory compliance before shipping. Duties And Responsibilities Perform inprocess inspections to ensure that vehicle builds meet the highquality standard set by MNV. Perform final inspections to ensure that each vehicle meets customer standards prior to being shipped. Provide exterior inspections: checking for scratches, dents, headlight functions, and proper function of doors and latches; conduct interior inspections as well. Ensure that all inprocess builds and endproducts meet regulatory requirements as specified. Participate in problem solving and root cause analysis on the shop floor. Communicate inspection results to plant. Prepare quality documentation and reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing data. Comply with relevant health and safety legislation and company health and safety practices. Education And Experience Prior Pre Delivery Inspection (PDI) experience at dealerships is an asset. Qualityrelevant or technical college certification is an asset. Prior experience in automotive or manufacturing is an asset, with a good understanding of fit and function, assembly processes and technical competencies. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to coordinate, prioritize and multitask. Demonstrated flexibility within a fastpaced challenging environment. Understanding of structured quality problemsolving tools and documentation. Ability to take initiative and recognize needs as required. Handle highly sensitive and confidential material. Must have reliable transportation. Sound knowledge of ISO 9001 and QMS. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Good understanding of PPAP, PCP and PFD will be an asset.
