Applications are invited for the position of Associate Dean, Health Sciences, located at the Welland Campus. The salary range is $125,153 to $156,441 for a 35-hour work week. Additional hours may be required as necessary. Responsibilities Report to the Dean of Health Sciences and work collaboratively with a high-performance divisional team to lead the development, delivery and ongoing review of full-time and part-time post-secondary programs and services in the department. Ensure programs are effectively and efficiently delivered, meeting Ministry, CVS or PEQAB, Accreditation standards, and remain relevant to the needs of college students. Oversee a diverse portfolio of online and in-person health programs integral to the colleges mission of providing high-quality education and training to future healthcare professionals. Support programs with external accreditation across regulated health professions and maintain high standards of academic excellence and regulatory compliance. Plan and implement the academic delivery of School of Allied Health courses and programs in line with college budget and enrolment forecasts; lead curriculum development and renewal; hire and develop faculty; manage workload assignments. Supervise faculty and staff to manage course and program delivery within the portfolio and collaborate with the Dean, Associate Deans, faculty and college stakeholders to ensure effective, high-quality delivery and student success. Resolve academic integrity issues, address student concerns, participate in community and college recruitment events, and engage in college-wide committees as required.
