Position Summary Reports to the Director of Pharmacy Operations. The role is responsible for receiving, preparing, and delivering prescriptions accurately and on time, maintaining adequate inventory levels, and ensuring a friendly, proactive customer interaction. The Pharmacy Manager also provides staff guidance, drives operational performance, and manages financial success. What Youll Do Supervise and provide guidance and direction to staff Hire and manage staff performance Accountable for the financial and operational success of the pharmacy department Prepare, dispense, and control medications accurately and timely to patients Maintain adequate inventory of medications and overthecounter supplements to meet patient needs Counsel patients on new or additional medications in a friendly, positive and proactive manner Create awareness and educate customers through public health events (e.g., clinics, health days) Resolve patient needs and doctors requests/issues in a timely and positive way Obtain and review budgeted sales and net contribution Identify and report sales opportunities internally and externally Control costs at all levels within the pharmacy What Youll Need Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and a Class A Pharmacists license (required) Minimum of 3 years experience in a retail pharmacy environment Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills Strong peoplemanagement skills with the ability to motivate and coach others Excellent customer service skills and a strong sense of professionalism Proven ability to build the business using communitybased marketing strategies Strong problemsolving skills, including experience formulating and executing action plans Proficient in personal computing; knowledge of Healthwatch and/or KROLL Pharmacy systems is an asset Employment Details Seniority level: MidSenior Employment type: Fulltime Job function: Health Care Provider Industry: Retail EEO & Diversity Statement We have a longstanding focus on diversity, equity and inclusion and are committed to creating accessible environments for all applicants.
