Base Pay Range CA$102,000.00/yr - CA$105,000.00/yr Job Posting: Maintenance Supervisor Department: Maintenance & Engineering Reports To: Manager, Maintenance & Engineering Employment Type: Full-Time Location: Mississauga, Ontario, Canada About the Role Our Client, Mother Parkers is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead a dynamic team responsible for the repair and maintenance of processing and packaging equipment across multiple shifts. This role ensures safe, efficient, and cost-effective operations using our SQCDPE framework (Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, People, Environment). Key Responsibilities Leadership & Planning Set team objectives in collaboration with the Maintenance Manager and cross-functional stakeholders. Develop and execute strategic and operational plans, monitor KPIs, and implement corrective actions. Champion lean manufacturing and TPM initiatives to improve equipment effectiveness. Operations & Compliance Supervise maintenance mechanics and contractors. Maintain and improve PM programs, track failures and downtime. Ensure compliance with food safety, occupational safety, and environmental standards. Team Development Conduct performance reviews and support training plans. Lead shift handover meetings and provide feedback to management. Foster collaboration between operators and maintenance crews. Technical Oversight Provide after-hours support for breakdowns and urgent repairs. Monitor inventory and coordinate projects. Conduct root cause analysis and present downtime reports weekly. Qualifications Experience & Skills 5+ years in maintenance within CPG or food manufacturing. Strong technical knowledge of processing and packaging equipment. Proficiency in reading blueprints and CAD drawings. Leadership experience with high-performing teams. Familiarity with CMMS, ERP, MES systems, and Microsoft Office. Education & Certifications Secondary School Diploma required. Trade certifications (Millwright, Electrical license) and apprenticeship completion. B.A.Sc or B.Eng is considered an asset. Training in GMP, WSIB, and industrial trades (welding, machining, etc.). Forklift experience is an asset. Overtime & weekend work required as needed. Why Join the Team?
