Our company is growing, and were excited to welcome a Junior Draftsperson to our team! This role offers long-term growth opportunities, and a chance to be part of a supportive, collaborative team. ***What you will do:*** - Create drawings primarily for spec homes, with some client homes, in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. - Work closely with the Drafting Manager or senior draftsperson to ensure production numbers are met. - Collaborate effectively with the drafting team while also being able to work independently. - Apply knowledge of construction and building codes (preferred but not required). - Manage priorities effectively to achieve monthly production targets, measured by doors completed. - Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit are mandatory as all drawings are done in Revit solely. - The ideal candidate will have an interest in other positions as well, as this position will involve cross training with the estimating, construction and marketing departments. - Take on tasks outside of drafting as needed to support the team. - Demonstrate initiative, problem-solving ability, and genuine eagerness to learn. ***Experience/Knowledge Requirements:*** - Architectural Technologist diploma is an asset - Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD is mandatory - Residential construction experience is an asset - Excellent communication skills - Strong organization and time management skills - Ability to learn quickly, problem solve, and multitask - Strong knowledge of building codes is an asset - Attention to detail and commitment to deadlines - Must have a demonstrated positive and proactive approach and be prepared to be flexible in the work performed **Benefits:** - Casual dress - Company Events - Dental care - Extended health care - RRSP match - On-site parking - Paid time off - Perkopolis (Perks) Schedule: - Monday to Thursday: 8:00AM to 5:00PM - Friday: 8:00AM to 2:00PM Work Location: Calgary (In-person) Salary: Depending on experience We offer competitive compensation, benefits packages, ample advancement opportunities, extensive and flexible education programs and a friendly work environment.
