Faber Workabout 8 hours ago Calgary, Alberta Mid Level full_time ### **About the role** **About The Role** Our client is immediately looking for an experienced Forklift Operator for their logistics facility located in Southeast Calgary. **Role Description** Reporting directly to the Warehouse Manager, you will support the shipping and receiving department by loading outbound and unloading inbound shipments. Day-to-day, you will operate a forklift with the responsibility of maintaining a safe, respectful, and efficient work environment. **Responsibilities** - Provide support to the Shipping and Recieving department regarding forklifting - Monitor truck schedules and daily delivery times and shipment times - Load and unload trucks - Operate forklifts - Maintain inventory items related to Shipping and Receiving - Organize, clean, and provide general maintenance on your forklift and the Shipping and Recieving area **Skills And Requirements** - Experience operating a forklift within a logistics or manufacturing facility - Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs - Vehicle and driver''s license to get to the warehouse site - Ability to communicate effectively with other members of the logistics team - Attentiveness and desire to complete tasks with a high level of professionalism - Enthusiasm for daily work and ability to support with odd tasks - Ability to operated your forklift with minimal supervision **Final Thoughts** We believe in diversity of thought and experience.
