Why youre right for this opportunity You are excited to lead initiatives that assure the quality of web and mobile applications to validate functional, UI, accessibility, SEO, regression, integration, performance, and security requirements. You can define and document business requirements to drive functional requirements for the team to implement. Create testing strategies via test plans and test cases to execute and review with the team. You can identify, document, and track defects and issues using tools (i.e. JIRA, GitHub Issues, etc.) and collaborate closely with team members to resolve them. Analyze test results and generate detailed reports, highlighting trends, potential risks, and areas for improvement. Consult the team on accessible design solutions while adhering to best practices and responsive design principles. Collaborate with developers, designers, and clients to improve software quality. Mentor junior QA team members. Stay current with industry trends and best practices. A sneak peek at what youll be doing From functional and UI testing to accessibility and performance reviews, youll play a key role in catching issues early and improving our testing processes. You'll also contribute to manual testing efforts, mentor other team members, and help evolve our QA best practices. As a QA Analyst at Nascent, youll work closely with developers and designers to ensure the quality of web and mobile applications. You'll define test strategies, execute test cases, and track defects to keep our products polished and reliable. What you bring to the table Job Type: Full-time Location: Toronto, In-person 5+ years of relevant experience Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). Experience working with cross-functional teams and/or stakeholders. Experience using testing tools (JIRA, Testiny, GitHub Issues, etc.). Experience creating test reports and documentation.
