Responsibilities Builds and Leads Teams: Assembles and supports diverse, high-performing project teams with clearly defined roles and responsibilities. Directs Project Execution: Oversees task coordination, progress tracking, and quality assurance, ensuring alignment with standards and best practices. Manages Stakeholder Engagement: Fosters transparent communication, collaboration, and trust with internal and external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. Defines Project Scope: Establishes clear objectives, requirements, and deliverables in partnership with stakeholders. Plans and Organizes: Develops work breakdown structures, schedules, and budgets to guide execution and manage resources effectively. Mitigates Risks and Issues: Proactively identifies and addresses risks, changes, and challenges through thoughtful analysis and responsive strategies. Ensures Accountability: Maintains quality control and provides regular updates to promote transparency, informed decision-making, and continuous improvement. Qualifications Education Technical diploma in a relevant field (e.g., Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent). Experience & Requirements Minimum of 8 years of progressive project management experience in shipbuilding, vessel repair, or refit projects. Proven track record of leading complex, multi-disciplinary projects in marine or industrial environments. Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive results. Skilled in budgeting, scheduling, risk management, and stakeholder communication. Strong understanding of marine systems and shipyard operations considered an asset.
