Job Overview The RBC Global IT Risk (GITR) team protects RBCs brand, systems, and operations by equipping business and technology partners with meaningful insights, advice, and information on RBC IT & cyber risks. The Senior Cyber Security and IT Risk Management Analyst evaluates the design and effectiveness of IT controls, supports the identification and mitigation of IT and regulatory risks, and assists in the maintenance of operational and IT control procedures. What You Will Do Execute control testing to evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of IT controls. Participate in all phases of the internal control monitoring process including planning, testing, evaluating risk, identifying mitigating controls, developing conclusions, writing reports, and maintaining work papers. Coordinate with stakeholders to log and manage control deficiencies, assess remediation plans, and verify remediation compliance. Build trusted advisor relationships with stakeholders across business units and teams. Maintain thorough understanding of governing policies, standards, and regulatory requirements. Keep abreast of external cyber security trends, technologies, and cyber risk management approaches to advise on risk posture. What You Need Bachelors degree in computer science, engineering, or related field. Preferred certifications: CRISC, CISA, CISSP. Over five years of IT control testing experience, preferably within financial services. Proficient written and oral communication skills and strong analytical, writing, and documentation abilities. Strong understanding of technology, financial services industry, and relevant regulations (FINRA, SEC, MSRB, FRBNY, OCC). Deadlinedriven, resultsoriented, and able to handle multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously. NicetoHave Risk and control management knowledge across IT domains. Experience in cybersecurity and/or IT risk management. Big 4 IT risk consulting, audit experience.
