Auto & Property Insurance Specialist - Brio Insurance Province: Gimli, ManitobaPosition: Auto & Property Insurance SpecialistDeadline: December 1, 2025Posted: October 17, 2025 Job Description / Duties Process a variety of personal lines policies and intricate insurance contracts related to residential homes and personal belongings. Handle basic insurance transactions and auto policies. Manage contracts often including residential and recreational property, boats, personal pleasure craft, and jewelry under supervision of a senior licensed broker. Identify client needs and provide information on varying insurance packages such as risk coverage, benefits, and other policy features best suited to meet the clients needs. Recommend and implement a clients insurance coverage, premiums, and collect payment; promote Brio Insurance products and services. Respond to emergencies and assist clients with their claims. Utilize the Insurance portal to endorse and complete a policy. Write a new home owner policy. Service a 300K Personal lines book (using Manager discretion). Quote a minimum of 40 new home policies a year, as per management discretion. Support the achievement of department and organizational goals and actively participate in regular staff meetings. Maintain open communication and cooperation with other staff to ensure a friendly and efficient work environment. Maintain thorough knowledge of and adhere to organizational policies and procedures on risk management, confidentiality, security and fraud prevention. Qualifications / Required Skills Completed Level 1 Brokers Insurance license. Working towards completing all MPI courses. General understanding of MPI/SMI transactions. MPI Lead must complete all requirements to hold the KAP position, if required by branch. Demonstrated desire to serve others in a friendly and professional manner. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written. Attention to detail with high degree of accuracy. Ability to work in fastpaced environment and perform well under pressure. Ability to prioritize using sound judgment to make timely and effective decisions. Knowledge of Brio Insurance products and services. Ability to follow standardized policies and procedures. Knowledge of risk management within the insurance industry. Proficient computer skills.
