Shift Time Afternoon shift What we have to offer - $21.65 /hour to start - $22.85 /hour after 6 months - $24.05/ hour after 1 year - Annual Increases based on Collective Bargaining Agreement - $1000 referral bonus for each successful referral - Part Time Position, varying hours may apply Job Description - Take an active role in changeover procedures and achieve line speed efficiencies - Visual quality checks of product against customer and internal specifications (including foreign materials and weight checks) - Ability to maintain cleanliness of areas of responsibility - Adhere to individual Product Standard Operating Procedures for components and packaging material - Must wear proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and comply with Health and Safety requirements - Pack various meat products into trays/boxes - Operate slicing machine and weight scale, if necessary - Complete all checklists correctly in a timely manner - Pushing & pulling of skids and racks - Palletizing - Other duties as required/assigned **Requirements:** - Experience within a food manufacturing environment - Good communication skills, both written and spoken English - Attention to detail with basic computer skills and strong leadership skills - Capable of lifting 25kg - Require to stand for 8 hours with some lifting and bending - Ability to follow and execute instructions given by Managers/Supervisors - Ability to organize and prioritize tasks in a rapidly changing environment - Work in conditions under 10C - Must be able to work up to 40 hours per week
