Travel & Location This role will primarily support Fort McMurray operations with 2550% travel required to that location. What Youll Do with Our Training and Your Experience Manage, oversee, and coordinate many aspects of small to medium projects from award through completion, ensuring ontime, withinbudget delivery. Translate customer needs into detailed proposals and project plans; review and approve estimates before bidding; provide technical support to sales as needed. Communicate project requirements to the team and organization, maintaining accurate and uptodate records of status, changes, material flow, and other control documents. Serve as the companys customerservice champion, ensuring Convergint Technologies remains the first choice for service. Identify potential project risks and develop strategies to minimize impact and control deviations from estimated costs and deadlines. Proactively communicate schedules, change proposals, and related activities to customers, continuously improving satisfaction. Coordinate procurement of materials, supplies, and services necessary for timely, costeffective completion. Establish project milestones and analyze costs; review actual vs. estimated job cost and provide timely project cost reports; adjust plans or estimates as needed. Provide diagnostic and troubleshooting support to existing customers, sales, and service teams for electrical and installation issues. Act as the first point of contact for receiving and dispatching goods with transporters and suppliers. Execute and review all scope of work, terms, and conditions in customer contracts, managing cost control and delivery fulfillment. Perform limited managerial duties, including planning, assigning, directing work, and performance management; oversee subcontractor selection and work. Perform additional duties as requested or required. What Youll Need Good project management experience in a technical environment (electronic security systems). Coaching, mentoring, and staff development skills; proactive leadership orientation. Team building, facilitation, and strong initiative. Adaptability and ability to influence others with strong written and verbal communication. Strong analytical skills for problem resolution and solution development. Financial analytical skills, including cost control. Collaboration skills and basic Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Basic IT networking principles knowledge. Requirements Diploma or bachelors degree in a related field. Minimum 12 years of project management experience in security systems, or 23 years of constructionbased field service/installation or project coordination experience. Previous experience in the security industry is required. Two to three years of supervisory experience is an asset. PMI certification preferred; industryspecific certifications or licenses required.
