Responsibilities & Qualifications Help customers complete their taxes using Intuit TurboTax products by providing tax guidance and reviewing personal tax returns. Prepare complete returns and manage product/software inquiries to accelerate our goal of powering prosperity worldwide. Utilize government websites, professional resources, and team expertise to deliver the right answer to the customer in language they understand. Operate a virtual, customerfacing role using stateoftheart video communication software, documenting interactions to maintain accurate records. Have a minimum of two (2) years of paid professional tax preparation experience. Provide your CRA Representative Identifier (RepID) to enable the CRA Represent a Client service upon successful onboarding. Possess experience using professional tax software to prepare and file personal tax returns with complex elements such as employment, selfemployment, rental income, investments, T1135 forms, foreign income, and various credits and deductions. Be passionate about helping clients navigate the complexities of taxation and committed to enhancing the Intuit brand by delighting customers and empowering them to prepare their taxes. Possess excellent customerservice skills and enjoy interacting with customers via video and audio tools in a professional, friendly, and confident manner. Be willing and available to work a flexible schedule with a minimum of twenty (20) hours per week. Have proficiency in English, as the role involves direct contact with clients across Canada, many of whom are Englishonly speaking. Complementary Qualifications Experience preparing Business Tax (T2) returns. Experience preparing Quebec Tax (TP1) returns. Skills & Abilities Tax expertise demonstrate a fundamental understanding of tax laws and concepts and a proven ability to seek additional learning opportunities. Effective communication use written and verbal skills to provide quality service, actively listen, and demonstrate empathy. Complex problem solving take ownership, leverage tools and resources, and resolve or appropriately escalated cases. Research and resourcefulness exhibit curiosity, continuous learning, and the ability to find suitable solutions for all customers. Technical acumen interest in learning the tools required for the role and demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot basic issues. Compensation Intuit offers a competitive compensation package with a strong pay-for-performance rewards approach.
