Overtime is required during the busy season.** - **Must be willing to working evenings and weekends when needed.** - **Hourly rate is dependent on experience.** - **Health benefits, pension plan, RRSP matching, vacation pay offered.** **Job Description:** - Ability to work safely and always stay alert to surroundings. - Experience with other construction equipment considered an asset. - Performing routine inspections and preventative maintenance on assigned equipment. - Assist foremen of any issues or repairs required on assigned equipment. - Physical strength, stamina and coordination to complete assigned duties. - Ability to withstand working outside on uneven ground for long periods of time and in varying weather conditions. - Must ensure a solid understanding of, and comply with, the principles of the company''s Code of Ethics. - Use of personal protection equipment is required. - Must comply with the company''s drug and alcohol policy, including testing requirements. - Maintain positive company image. - Other duties as required. **Experience and Certification Requirements:** - Minimum 2-3 year''s experience as a grader operator. - A valid driver''s license is required. - A driver''s abstract is required and must be obtained no more than 30 days prior to employment start date. - A CSTS 2020 or SCOT, and WHMIS 2015 required. - You have the ability to quickly identify problem situations, evaluate alternative causes and produce workable solutions and work positively within a team to achieve a common goal. - Proficient English language skills required. - Reliable means of transportation required. - Time management skills. **Education:** Completion of high school or equivalent is required. **Go ahead and be yourself.
