Apply today!PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESAdminister medications in the patient's home, specialty clinics and Physician Partnership clinic settings.Assess and monitor pre- and post-injection / infusion treatments as directed by program protocols.Complete documentation based on policies and procedures, and as directed by the College of Nurses and Innomar ISO accreditation standards of practice.Provide patient / caregiver education based on product monographs and program protocols, individually or in groups.Report adverse events, serious adverse events, and product complaints in accordance with Innomar training and policies & procedures.Provide reliable availability based on the agreed-upon employment agreement to meet the needs of the IBU and the Nursing and clinics KPIs.Communicate and work effectively among multi-disciplinary teams (case managers, physicians, pharmacy, scheduling and other departments) to meet timelines for scheduling appointments and treatments.Communicate effectively with patients / caregivers to set up appointments and drug delivery to home and clinic.Participate regularly in team web-based meetings / training sessions with the Business Area Manager, RNE and Nurse Champion to maintain and enhance professional practice standards.Participate in specialized client-related trainings as required.Adhere to professional nursing standards as prescribed by professional associations and Innomar.Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary health care teams providing oversight and delegation of applicable tasks to RPN / LPN as authorized by the provincial college of nurses.Travel within designated IBUs to meet operational needs.Follow all nursing and clinic standard operating procedures and work instructions, and all Health and Safety standards per the provincial Health and Safety Act.Complete ongoing and annual education training as per the training matrix within the specified timeframes.Perform other related duties and tasks as required by Innomar.May be required to be on standby / on call to meet service needs.EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTSRelevant experience as a Registered Nurse required1 year IV initiation experienceCurrent registration with a licensing body; CPR certificateExperience in a critical care, emergency, acute care inpatient / outpatient or homecare settingACLS, PALS, MS and CVAA Certification, and central venous lines / port experience are considered assetsProficient in MS Excel, Outlook (e-mail), and MS Word and other applicable computer programsAccess to internet connectionKnowledge of cell phone use for making and confirming appointments / assignments and use of fax machinesExcellent customer service skills for managing daily interactions with patients, family members, physicians and clients; strong written and verbal communication skillsAble to work autonomously with little supervision as part of a larger teamAble to travel to clinics and homecare appointments within a set geographical boundaryMINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTSAdvanced knowledge of pharmaceutical distribution industry is an assetBusiness and financial acumen is an assetStrong critical thinking and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to communicate effectively both orally and in writingEffective interpersonal and leadership skillsEffective organizational skills; attention to detailEffective time management and prioritization skillsAbility to consistently meet deadlinesSelf-directed with the ability to work independentlyAbility to adapt to a fast-paced environmentHold and maintain a valid, non-expired, unrestricted drivers license and insurance coverageWhat Cencora offersWe provide compensation, benefits, and resources that enable a highly inclusive culture and support our team members ability to live with purpose every day.
