Reporting to the Vice President, Information Technology, this role is responsible for leading the strategic planning, implementation, and oversight of Semexs IT infrastructure and cybersecurity posture. This is a hybrid role, requiring 3 days in the office per week.What you will do:Develop and execute infrastructure and cybersecurity strategies aligned with business goalsLead technology roadmaps, portfolio planning, and innovation initiativesOversee the design, implementation, and lifecycle management of scalable, secure IT systemsEnsure system reliability through high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity planningManage service desk operations and optimize ITSM processes (incident, problem, and change management)Lead threat detection and response, including vulnerability assessments and incident handlingMentor and manage infrastructure, security, and service desk teamsOversee hiring, resource allocation, performance management, and professional developmentManage budgets, timelines, and vendor relationships for infrastructure and security projectsWhat you need to succeed:Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field8+ years in IT infrastructure or security roles, including 5+ years in leadershipHands-on experience with network design, disaster recovery, and business continuityStrong knowledge of cybersecurity controls and monitoring toolsExcellent communication skills, with the ability to bridge technical and non-technical audiencesExperience in fast-paced, cross-functional environmentsStrategic thinking, leadership, and adaptabilityCertifications such as PMP, ITIL 4, CISSP, or CISM are considered assetsProven success in:Leading large-scale initiatives and managing budgetsDefining long-term technical strategies aligned with business goalsNegotiating with external partners and managing internal expectationsCollaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise-grade solutionsLearning and development opportunitiesHealth and wellness programsCompetitive salary and performance bonusGroup insurance program and pension fundSocial activities and much moreIf you are looking for an organization that invests in its people, is engaging, flexible, and striving for bettermentthis is the opportunity for you!
