Job SummaryThe Manufacturing Engineer Projects and ERP Implementation, is instrumental in driving operational efficiency, modernizing production systems and scalability to support business needs and initiatives. This role requires a strong background in project management and hands-on experience with both the implementation and optimization of ERP systems within a manufacturing environment.This is a FIXED TERM contract with potential opportunity for extension or renewal based on operational needs. This is an in-office position. Successful candidate can choose to work from either the Head Office (Tara, Ontario) or Production Plant (Goderich, Ontario) locations. Employees must be able to perform the essential job duties and satisfy job requirements either with or without reasonable accommodation.Key ResponsibilitiesDrive the successful implementation and integration of ERP system (Epicor) across manufacturing operations for the full lifecycle including information gathering, configuration, testing, training and post-launch support.Collaborate with IT, supply chain, accounting and production teams to ensure ERP solutions align with business needs.Analyze manufacturing workflows and identify opportunities for optimization using lean principles and six sigma methodologies.Collaborate to develop and maintain manufacturing processes, ERP workflows, and project plans.Provide training and support for staff on new systems and processesMonitor KPIs for accuracy and assist to generate reports that track project progress and system performance.Ensure compliance with safety, quality and regulatory standards.QualificationsBachelors degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering role.Proven track record in project management, including planning, execution and stakeholder communication.Hands-on experience with ERP system implementation and configuration.Strong understanding of steel production, processes and equipment.Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsPMP certification or equivalent is an assetPrevious EPICOR experience is an assetExperience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.Calhoun Super Structures is an equal opportunity employer.
