We believe that our community is strengthened by this diversity of perspectives. **Position Overview** The **Creative Content Specialist** plays a key role in the Marketing and Communications team, contributing to the creation of custom, high-quality print, user interface, website, and digital content. This team is dedicated to sharing the story of LCS through initiatives that support student recruitment, constituent engagement, and fundraising while safeguarding and enhancing the schools brand, visibility, and reputation. This role demands a positive, creative, and high-energy contributor capable of balancing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will excel in storytelling and visual communications design to foster engagement with the school community. **Key Responsibilities:** - Designing graphic materials for print and digital use, including marketing, fundraising, and school life assets (e.g., admissions/fundraising/marketing collaterals, trustee presentations, academic and co-curricular program materials, event support, posters, signage, certificates, and special projects). - Proofreading and editing in-house materials. - Updating/creating website content and online publishing platforms (e.g., external school profiles) while proactively improving functionality and design in collaboration with stakeholders. - Collaborating on user interface designs for the schools website and other digital platforms to ensure a cohesive, user-friendly experience aligned with LCS brand guidelines. - Providing creative input and implementing updates for digital design elements, including navigation, page layouts, and overall usability. - Ensuring adherence to brand standards, including approved typefaces, logos, and guidelines as outlined in LCSs branding protocols. - Working closely with the Assistant Head: Marketing Communications to plan, create, and deliver all creative assets to a consistently high standard and within deadlines. **What You Bring To The Team:** - Relevant qualifications and/or experience in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or Communications, supported by a strong creative portfolio. - Photography experience. - Experience with digital best practices and innovation. - 37 years of education and/or industry experience. - Passion for storytelling combined with strong visual communication skills. - Creativity, attention to detail, and adaptability. - Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and web-related platforms (e.g., WordPress, Squarespace, or other CMS technologies). - Training or experience in user interface (UI) design, including knowledge of design principles and tools like Figma, Adobe XD, or similar platforms. - Understanding of UX/UI principles with the ability to translate user needs into functional and visually engaging designs. - Strong knowledge of typography and composition. - High level of technical confidence with digital tools and a willingness to learn new technologies.
