Laboratory Technician C at AGAT Laboratories Overview Join AGAT Laboratories as a Laboratory Technician C in our Environmental Inorganics Lab in Calgary. Entrylevel role reporting to the Laboratory Supervisor, assisting with laboratory tasks and data reporting. Responsibilities Perform basic laboratory procedures including preparation of samples, reagents and calibration solutions Provide general lab support including washing glassware, cleaning work stations and waste disposal Calibrate, operate, maintain and troubleshoot instruments Compile, verify and validate accurate data records Meet quality assurance and turnaround specifications Follow all Quality Control and Standard Operating Procedures Report results Other duties as assigned Qualifications Technical diploma or degree is an asset 1+ years laboratory experience considered an asset Intermediate computer skills required Previous experience with documentation and procedural standards Ability to work diligently in a pressured environment Fluency in English, both verbal and written Handeye coordination and attention to detail Mature work ethic Ability to work independently and in a team Problemsolving, communication, organization, and time management skills Benefits Comprehensive health, dental, and vision care Paid vacation and flexible sick time Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Longterm disability and life insurance Professional development opportunities About AGAT Laboratories AGAT Laboratories is a premier fullservice laboratory operating at the cutting edge of science and innovation across North America.
