Duties and Responsibilities Responsible for external and internal financial reporting processes. Ensures compliance with accounting policies and procedures. Analyzes financial statements and other financial results. Responsible for Corporate business unit accounting. Analyzes data to support business decision-making. Prepares monthly and quarterly tax provisions including related journal entries and reconciliation. Responsible for assisting with Canadian and foreign jurisdiction corporate tax filings. Communicates as necessary with federal and provincial tax authorities to ensure tax returns are assessed and / or reassessed correctly. Assists with tax-related enquiries from other departments or tax advisors. Assists with tax planning opportunities. Liaises with the financial team leaders of the Company's individual business units. Liaises with external auditors in regards to financial reporting and tax-specific inquiries Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting / Finance Canadian CPA designation. 3-5 years experience (ideally in a public company environment, with multi-jurisdictional and multi-currency) Strong working knowledge of IFRS and income tax legislations Strong analytical, problem-solving, and superior communication skills, with excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities. #J-18808-Ljbffr
