Job Description The Opportunity WSP is seeking an intermediate Environmental Consultant to join our Site Assessment and Remediation Team in Southern Ontario. We offer attractive pay, flexible work options, a great corporate culture, comprehensive and employeefocused benefits including virtual healthcare and a wellness platform as well as great savings programs, and a clear vision for the future. #WeAreWSP What you can expect to do here Conduct Phase I & II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs), site remediation, and support for Risk Assessments and Records of Site Condition (O.Reg. 153/04) Apply knowledge of Ontario Regulation 406/19 (Excess Soil Management) in project planning and execution Assist with proposals, conceptual site models, and work programs Supervise and mentor junior staff in both field and office settings Coordinate field programs, subcontractors, and equipment logistics Review and interpret environmental data, lab results, and historical records Prepare technical reports and ensure regulatory compliance Develop client relationships and contribute to business development Support health and safety initiatives and promote a safetyfirst culture What youll bring to WSP Bachelors or Masters degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field; Masters degree preferred 35 years of experience in environmental consulting, with a focus on site assessment and remediation Eligibility for professional designation (P.Eng., P.Geo.) and Qualified Person (QP) status preferred Strong understanding of Ontario environmental regulations (O.Reg. 153/04 & 406/19) Excellent communication skills and attention to detail Valid drivers license and access to a vehicle for local fieldwork About Us WSP is one of the world's leading professional services firms.
