Experience Level 5+ years of experience Work Location Fredericton, NB or NB About the Role Quantiphi is seeking a seasoned Senior Software Developer to lead the design and development of scalable, highperformance web applications. This role blends deep technical expertise with handson development across the full stackspanning backend services, data layers, and intuitive user interfaces. You will collaborate closely with crossfunctional teams to deliver complex, datadriven solutions that solve realworld business challenges. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain fullstack applications with a focus on performance, scalability, and security. Build responsive frontend interfaces using JavaScript (preferably jQuery) and modern frameworks such as React or Angular. Develop robust backend services primarily in Java (11 & 17) and Spring MVC. Design and optimize relational databases using tools such as SQL Developer and platforms like SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL. Build and integrate RESTful APIs to enable seamless communication between frontend and backend systems. Work in cloud environmentsideally Azureto deploy and manage scalable applications. Collaborate with UX/UI designers, product managers, and fellow engineers to align on business needs and user experience goals. Lead by example in code quality through code reviews, mentoring, and best practice enforcement. Support CI/CD processes and ensure application reliability through automated testing and secure coding practices. Basic Qualifications Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience). 5+ years of professional software development experience, with a strong foundation in architecture and system design. Expertise in Java (11 & 17), Spring MVC, SQL, and RESTful API development. Proficient in JavaScript, including jQuery, HTML, and CSS. Experience with cloud platforms, ideally Azure (GCP or AWS also considered). Solid understanding of software engineering best practices, including version control (Git), automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines. Excellent communication, collaboration, and problemsolving abilities. Other Qualifications Experience with React or other modern JavaScript frameworks. Familiarity with GenAI code assistants or AIenhanced development tools. Exposure to both relational and NoSQL database systems (e.g., MongoDB).
