We have an opening for a Commercial Insurance Advisor to join our Commercial Team, working from our Lethbridge office in Lethbridge, AB on a 12 month contract full-time basis. Responsibilities Provide front-line customer service for Commercial Lines policies and take responsibility for retention and account development of existing clients, including quoting and placing new business as required. Service ongoing client needs, advise on insurance matters, conduct needs assessments, recommend solutions, answer inquiries, perform care calls, and process renewals. Sell new policies/write new business to existing or new clients and retain the existing book of business. Quote new business through outbound call initiatives, introductory letters, and walk-in clients. Contact Underwriters and Adjusters to discuss guidelines and policy details. Prepare documentation for insurers, complete client applications, issue insurance certificates, process changes, and review renewals. Stay current on underwriting rules and workflow processes. Actively participate in training initiatives and community marketing initiatives. Qualifications Equivalent skills and experience are welcomed; please apply if you feel you have them. High School and/or post-secondary education. Previous Commercial Insurance experience is an asset. AIC Level I or II General Insurance License. Proficient in EPIC and CISCO Finesse. Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Previous sales experience is an asset. Excellent customer service skills and adept in conflict resolution. Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities with strong analytical and organizational skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to pass a criminal and credit check.
