Clearance required: Eligible for Reliability - Client completes own clearance verifications (eligible: minimum 5+ years residing in Canada)Your future duties and responsibilities - Participate with scrum teams on large project initiatives to build mission critical services which may be following microservices architecture - Leading proof of concepts, impact analysis on new features and functionalities and staying abreast of open-source component evolution - Participate in testing activities (i.E., unit, integration, component failure, performance testing and disaster recovery) including writing and executing the test strategy/plan, test cases and overseeing the defect management process - Apply industry best practices and accelerate testing without compromising quality - Perform testing and ensure that the test framework continues to evolve to best suit ongoing and incoming needs - Developing and maintaining QA automation test cases for Java based microservice based applications. These test cases include front automation and backend API integration - Helping to address the failures, improve the efficiency of the automation engine by using your knowledge of end-toend test automation and backend integration (which can be developed in time)Required qualifications to be successful in this role - A minimum of five (5) years of demonstrated experience in conducting QA and testing activities - Must have demonstrated experience developing and maintaining automated test scripts (Typescript/Playwright and/or Selenium preferred) - Demonstrated experience working in a team environment and large scale, business critical application - Demonstrated experience working as a QA automation developer for Java based applications - Demonstrated experience working with behavioral driven development, with team first approach - Demonstrated experience managing end to end an automation engineNice to Have - Javascript, NodeJS, DevOps tools Javascript, NodeJS, DevOps tools (Git, Jenkins, Sonarcube) - Knowledge of microservice based architecture/API testing#LI-KM1#INDCGICTogether, as owners, lets turn meaningful insights into action.Life at CGI is rooted in ownership, teamwork, respect and belonging.
