Position Summary Manages all store funds through accurate cash handling and record keeping to ensure financial integrity and security. What youll do Confirms appropriate amount of currency in the Accounting Office upon opening, after final deposit and prior to closing the office daily, and calibrates the teller machine weekly or as necessary. Manages all store funds, including cash registers, ATMs, selfcheckouts and vending machines. Regulates movement of cash by processing register bags to prepare deposits for armored car pickup and reconciles endofday business transactions. Identifies, prepares, organizes, and separates financial reports and logs and distributes relevant information to appropriate people, including researching and challenging all chargebacks and reconciling journal accounts. Communicates shortages as per guideline to DLPM and Management. Monitors the area for signs of shrink and potential security risks and informs management and Loss Prevention. Ensures the safe is secured when the cash office is unattended and the day lock is on while in the cash office, maintaining a safe and secure work environment in compliance with Company policies and procedures. The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $18.00. Rate of pay will be determined based on relevant experience.
