Job Description Aramark is recruiting a Finance Coordinator to compile, record, and retrieve operational information related to our foodservice on campus at Dalhousie University. The Finance Coordinator assists in maintaining accurate accounting records and reports, ensures that information is accurate and up-to-date, and processes comply with Aramark policies and procedures. Job Responsibilities Reviews sales and purchase summaries; issues invoices to VendorsManages Accounts Receivable (A/R) for vendor accountsPerforms Transfer Journal Entries for funds transfer between locationsManages student residence bills from university and meal-plan card feesSupports catering department to ensure sales and gratuities balanceProvides customer service to other units requesting sales data from programsMonitors the food service email to respond to student enquiries, process refundsOversees invoice entry process to ensure expenses are accurately recordedOversee inventory count entry for all componentsReviews operating reports from units adjusting as requiredProvide outstanding customer service to internal and external customersProvides budget process support as required Qualifications ost-secondary Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce is preferred2-3 years accounting experience preferably in the foodservice or hospitality industryKnowledge and understanding of accounting standards, practices, and proceduresStrong analytical, problem solving and technical accounting skills requiredHigh degree of attention to detailHigh proficiency in Excel ?
